Electrolysis Consultation and Prices

Abigail specialises in treating all clients including transgender, pre-GRS and those with Polycystic Ovaries.

The consultation will include discussing your treatment needs, explaining how electrolysis works and what it involves and creating a treatment plan specific to your requirements.

In some cases if unwanted hair growth is due to a medical condition or GP permission is required for insurance purposes, it may be necessary to contact your GP to discuss your treatment needs and to update them on progress made.

Prior to actual treatment, a small patch test will be carried out to assess the skin and hair so an appropriate treatment plan can be created.

The minimum booking time is 15 minutes. Your treatment will last any time up until 15 minutes and is the minimum charge for any electrolysis treatment you receive.

Advanced Cosmetic Procedures Consultation and Prices

Abigail Best Specialises in Treating the following blemishes.

As part of the consultation, we assess the blemish to ensure it is treatable. Occasionally, we may need to refer you to your doctor or a dermatologist to ensure it can be treated safely. A test patch will then be carried out.                        After 4 to 6 weeks as long as everything has healed well and you are happy to go ahead we can proceed to treatment.

You may require multiple treatments if there are lots of blemishes or the treatment is progressive. this will be discussed during your consultation. 

The consultation is your opportunity to find out as much as possible. Booking a consultation does not mean you are committed to treatment and you will never be pressured to book an appointment. The aim of the consultation is to give you as much information as possible so you can go away and make an informed decision in your own time.

Involves discussing what electrolysis is, how it works, what you can expect to achieve, your treatment needs, treatment outcomes, creation of a treatment plan and electrolysis Skin Care advice. It includes a test patch, medically permitting.

You are required to pay this fee within 24 hours of booking your appointment to confirm your booking. If you fail to do so your appointment will be cancelled automatically. 

If you cancel this booking within 24 hours of the appointment you will not be refunded and you will need to pay again for any further consultation you may book.

Courses of 6 or 12 treatments are paid for upfront before any treatment starts you will receive a 10/15% discount respectively.

After Care                                                                                                                            You will need to purchase some aftercare products to ensure that you look after the skin adequately during your electrolysis treatment.

The total cost will be up to £18.00 depending on the size of the products you purchase.

All of this will be discussed during the consultation before you decide to commit to any treatment.

The purchase of aftercare is an insurance requirement and will be made at your first treatment.

Advanced Cosmetic Procedures

Consultation  

Approx 1hr 30 mins.       £120.00  This includes the cost of aftercare.

Involves discussing what the treatment involves, how it works and what you can reasonably expect to achieve. 

It will include a test patch medically permitting and the creation of a treatment plan. 

You are required to pay this fee within 24 hours of booking your consultation to confirm your booking. If you fail to do so your appointment will be cancelled automatically. 

If you cancel this booking within 24 hours of your appointment you will lose 50% of the consultation fee and will need to pay again for any further consultation you may book. 

If you are already receiving treatment at Abigail Best Electrolysis you will pay a reduced cost for your consultation.

Booking Advanced Cosmetic Procedures consultation

If you wish to have a blemish treated or removed prior to a special occasion you will need to book several months in advance to allow for the potential of multiple treatments and for adequate healing to take place. 

You will need to wait for up to 4 to 6 weeks before any treatment can occur once you have received your patch test. This is to allow for adequate healing to take place so we can assess how well your skin will heal and how long it takes. 

You will need to wait for up to 6 weeks between any treatment you receive so it is important to plan any treatment you might wish to have prior to holidays or special occasions. 

All of this will be discussed during your consultation.
